Dianne Kucheran

I was extremely fortunate to live in a “Rich Art Environment “ growing up. My Mother had received her Art Education on scholarships to Alberta’s Provincial Institute of Technology and Arts (PITA), and Banff School of Fine Arts. My childhood was filled with plein-air outings, painting exhibitions, and many discussions about perspective, composition, and colour!

As a young adult, I became a teacher, wife, and parent. Leisure time included artistic endeavours ( oil painting, fabric arts, pottery, and stained-glass). When I retired, I pursued water colour and acrylic painting.

After a move to Penticton, I became involved with a group of painters at the Penticton Art Gallery. I love painting and enjoy the opportunity to interact with other artists!
