I paint in oils and acrylics to capture the often overlooked beauty of ordinary moments that bring joy. The objects we surround ourselves with or take note of are direct reflections of who we are; the things we appreciate are part of the world we inhabit that are critical to our well being and happiness. They provide us with a sense of belonging. My paintings are inspired by nature, travel, and everyday rituals that provide comfort, all captured in a single moment portrayed in light, shadow and colour.
